Situated in the countryside in 5 hectares (12 acres) of grounds, without any close neighbour, between Agen and Tournon d'Agenais, this « gîte » with its shady patio, is exceptionally quiet, and offers a beautiful panorama with a lake in the Séoune valley in the heart of the " Serres Country".

Between the Lot and the Garonne, it stretches from their confluence right to the limits of the Lot and the Tarn-and-Garonne Departments. Its name probably comes from the chalkstone ridges above the valleys. For other people, it's from the image of the talons of a bird of prey that this area takes its name. The soft hills are ideal for mixed agriculture. Rural constructions include washhouses, dovecotes and quaint houses. The numerous romanesque churches are especially remarkable for their square steeples or their arcaded belfries. In the Pays de Serres, the invitation to visit is ever present, and guests are warmly welcomed. |

You will be delighted with the comfort of this independant single storey house of 53 m² (570 ft²), near the house of the owner. It is composed of : a kitchen cum living-room, a fireplace, a bedroom, a bathroom with WC. Electric heating is by infra-red radiators .

/ Prices are for a week from Saturday 4 pm. to the following Saturday at 10 am.. Extra charges : electricity - heating. The prices indicated do not include sheets,towels or house linen, the latter can be provided on request ( at an extra charge ) If you so wish, cleaning can be done by the owner, at the end of the stay, for 50 €. Please inform us of your choice on arrival. _____________________________________________ Expenses included in the price : * Eau / water location de linge de maison / house linen rental : 10 €, location de linge de toilette towels rental : 10 €, prestation ménage /cleaning : 60 €. For your information, if electric heating is used, you should allow for 70 € per week. Deposit, to be givent to the owner on arrival : 170 €. This deposit is refunded one week after departure. Single storey house. The main door opens directly into the living-room. Heating by means of infra-red radiant heaters Total area : 53 m² (570 ft²) The house has a fully-fitted kitchen with cupboards. There are 4 ceramic heating elements, an extractor, a double sink, a dish-washer, an electric oven, a fridge with a freezer compartment, and a micro-wave oven. There is an electric coffee-maker, a mixer, a toaster and a pressure-cooker. In the living-room, there is a table with 6 chairs, a couch and a rocking-chair. The floor is tiled, and there is a large open fireplace. There is a window looking north. There is a TV with an internal aerial. / Bedroom (18m² = 190ft²) : 1 double bed 140, 2 bedside tables , 2 lamps, 2 chandeliers, 2 dumb-waiters, 1 single spare bed. The floor is solid oak, there is one window, looking north. On leaving Agen, take the direction of Cahors, RD 656, then, 20 km after Agen, and 1 km before the village of Lacardayre, (or 2 km after the village Saint-Victor), you will see on your left an old windmill without sails. Turn right immediately after the crest of the hill and go straight ahead, following the direction indicating : "Rigau". Before taking this road check that the direction "Perpés" is also indicated, as there are other roads with "Rigaud Bas" and "Rigaud Haut" which are not the right roads. A sign for a craftsman called DUCLOS is present. If you are lost, don't hesitate to phone, we’ll come and find you (06.86.20.02.54)! |
